Understanding Your Power Numbers
- Running Load (Watts) — Total power draw when all selected appliances run simultaneously.
- Peak Surge (Watts) — Maximum instantaneous power including motor startup surges. Your inverter must handle this.
- Daily Usage (kWh) — Total energy consumed per day. Determines your battery and panel sizing.
- Minimum Inverter (kVA) — Smallest standard inverter that can handle your peak surge load.
